Join our dynamic team as a Sheet metal worker at workshop in Rottedam, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our projects moving smoothly. Your responsibilities will include preparing technical insulation sheets and materials, using drawings to bend them and prepare them accordingly,  form special “caps” and forms to cover machines, engines and pipelines using sheet meal, and delivering premade metal sheet for drivers which will deliver them to job sites.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

✔️Sheet Metal Fabrication

• Perform bending, rolling, cutting, and shaping of sheet metal components using press brakes, rollers, shears, and other workshop machinery.
• Prepare metal parts according to project specifications and ensure all components meet required tolerances.

✔️Reading and Interpreting Technical Drawings

• Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, isometrics, fabrication sketches, and material lists.
• Translate drawings into precise fabrication tasks and verify measurements before production.

✔️Material Preparation

• Select appropriate sheet metal materials (e.g., stainless steel, carbon steel, alloys) based on project specifications.
• Mark, measure, and lay out materials to ensure accurate cutting and forming.

✔️Quality Control

• Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy, weld-prep correctness, and compliance with petro-chemical industry standards.
• Report non-conformities and participate in corrective actions.

✔️Safety & Compliance

• Follow all workshop safety procedures and comply with Dutch and industry-specific HSE guidelines.
• Use appropriate PPE and maintain a clean and organized work area.

🧾 What You Need

✅ Experience in technical insulation preparations (metal sheet prefabricator)
✅ VCA-Basic Certificate (required)
✅ Good communication in English, Dutch, or German
✅ Responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail
✅ Driving license – mandatory.
